We are affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (I.A.M.) and are dedicated to promoting a greater awareness and enjoyment of motorcycling. The advice given by our group is intended to enhance the pleasure to be gained from riding, the more confidence and knowledge at your disposal, the greater your capacity to enjoy and take pride in your riding.

What Does The Course Involve
The course schedule is run over approximately 12 week term.
The IAM Skill for Life package contains everything you need to get your riding skills up to speed.
· Induction Evening giving a full briefing of the course content and requirements
· Six-on-road sessions held on Sunday mornings every other weekend with coaching from a qualified advanced rider (more can be added at no extra cost). If you can’t make the Sunday sessions alternative 1-2-1 sessions can be arranged to suit your situation
· The definitive guide to advanced riding techniques 'How to be a better rider'
· Membership of South Cheshire Advanced Motorcyclists, which includes social events, ride outs and a monthly newsletter
· Full preparation for your DSA accredited Advanced Riding Test
· Your Advanced Riding Test undertaken with a qualified examiner
· An IAM Advanced Riding Certificate on passing the test
· 12-month membership of the national IAM, which includes:
- Our award winning membership magazine 'Advanced Driving'
- Access to a host of membership benefits, privileges and discounts
- Special insurance discounts and policy cover once you have passed
- Access to the members-only area of this website (for special events, services and member offers)
