We are affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (I.A.M.) and are dedicated to promoting a greater awareness and enjoyment of motorcycling. The advice given by our group is intended to enhance the pleasure to be gained from riding, the more confidence and knowledge at your disposal, the greater your capacity to enjoy and take pride in your riding.
Induction Evening giving a full briefing of the course content and requirements
Six-on-road sessions held on Sunday mornings every other weekend with coaching from a qualified advanced rider (more can be added at no extra cost). If you can’t make the Sunday sessions alternative 1-2-1 sessions can be arranged to suit your situation. Learn More

'Discounted courses for Cheshire East residents are subsidised by Cheshire
Safer Roads Partnership as part of a targeted road safety initiative to
reduce local motorcyclist collisions and casualties
*individuals are initially required to pay the full cost of the advanced riding course with the subsidy being paid after successful completion of the 6 on road course sessions. Other subsidies are available for Cheshire West and Staffordshire residents see below or call 01270 766384 for the up to date situation
The current cost of The I.A.M. Skill for Life course is £139 (a small contribution to the volunteer observers fuels costs will be required on a session by session basis)
Subsidy update for Cheshire West and Staffordshire residents undertaking 'Skill for Life' advanced riding courses with South Cheshire Advanced Motorcyclists
Cheshire West: currently we have a very small number of £40 subsidies available to residents of Cheshire West and, as with Cheshire East residents this is paid on successful completion of the 6 in road course sessions.
Staffordshire: Residents will receive a £50 refund on passing their I.A.M. advanced motorcycle test.
